The following organizations are participating in the SSDI ‘1 for 2’ project. The role each organization is playing is briefly noted. A link to their website is provided if you would like to learn more about the organization.
Utah Agencies
- Vocational Rehabilitation, Utah State Office of Rehabilitation. The mission of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is to assist and empower eligible individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain meaningful employment. - Benefits Planning Assistance and Outreach (BPAO), Utah State Office of Rehabilitation. BPAO is designed to give Social Security Disability Beneficiaries information on how employment may affect their benefits so that they may make an informed choice about working. - Disability Medicaid (DM) program including the Medicaid Work Incentive or the Spend down, Utah Department of Health. DM is assisting in the recruitment of participants. http://www.health.utah.gov/medicaid/provhtml/general_info.html
- Valley Mental Health (VMH) – VMH assists individuals to improve and promote their physical and emotional well-being resulting in a strengthened quality of personal, family, and community life. VMH is assisting in the recruitment of participants. http://www.vmh.com/
- Bear River Mental Health (BRMH) – BRMH assists individuals in improving their emotional well-being. BRMH is assisting in the recruitment of participants. (no website available).
- Utah Department of Workforce Services – DWS provides employment and support services to their customers with the goal of improving their economic opportunities. DWS is providing wage data on enrollees in the program. http://jobs.utah.gov/edo/dwsdefault.asp
