People with disabilities can work and want to work. Work Ability helps prepare people with disabilities for work. The program was designed for people who receive public benefits like Medicaid and Social Security due to a disability. Work Ability connects these individuals with supports to help them find and maintain work.

The overall goal of the Utah Work Ability project is to create a comprehensive, consumer-responsive system of work supports that will increase employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities in Utah. As a result, Work Ability also helps employers by connecting them with an untapped workforce. So employer's can benefit from hiring qualified workers with disabilities.
