Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) provides services to eligible individuals to help prepare them for work and find a job so they can live more independently. Individuals receive services according to their individual needs. Services may include:

  • Vocational testing
  • Counseling and guidance
  • Physical and mental restoration
  • Training and education
    • On-the-job training
    • Supported Employment with the assistance of a job coach
    • Vocational Training
    • Adult Education classes
    • Training at a college or university
  • Job placement
  • Follow-up services after employment begins
