Tax Incentives For Hiring A Person With A Disability

When employers decide to hire a person with a disability it is important for human resource personnel to fill out necessary paper work for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit and the Welfare to Work Tax Credit. These credits are only available if the paper work is filed upon hire. It is illegal for you to ask an applicant if he or she qualifies for either credit, however many people with disabilities qualify for one or both credit.
