Self-determination is an idea that allows you to make choices about your life. The process includes setting goals to achieve your own goals and gain the skills and resources necessary to participate in your community. When you are self-determined you know your strengths and challenges. You can evaluate your environment, make informed choices, and solve problems while achieving your dreams and goals.
